Steam blocks the steam trap if it gets there before condensate forms.
Steam is discharged via a needle valve on the SK-51 SLR, and condensate is pumped out.
Condensate is drained via a float, and air is released by a thermostatic capsule inside the body. This prevents hydraulic shock in the pipeline. At the same time, if the float loses its function for any reason, the thermostatic capsule also discharges condensate and prevents the system from filling.
