SK-61B
In stock
The SK-61 float steam trap is designed to drain condensate using a float mechanism. During system startup, while the system is still warm, the built-in thermostatic air vent removes accumulated air and non-condensable gases.
The system heats up, steam gets inside the steam trap, the capsule expands and closes the valve. As condensate fills the steam trap body, the float rises, opening the valve and releasing condensate. As soon as all the condensate is drained, the steam trap is filled with steam. At this time, the float drops, closing the valve.
The design provides for the constant presence of a certain amount of water inside the steam trap, forming a water seal. This prevents the presence of "flight steam".
Optionally, the SK-61 can be ordered with a sight glass to monitor the condensate level.
Installation: the cover can be adjusted for installation both horizontally and vertically.
